The Wednesday Evening Punter

The Patriots refuse to lose and are now 13-0. The Seahawks clinched the NFC West, and Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in prison. What a week in football. Now to the Stars of the Week.
QB: Tom Brady, New England Patriots
399 yards and 4 touchdowns. The stats speak for themselves.
RB: Ryan Grant, Green Bay Packers
Grant rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries as the Packers beat up the Raiders 38-7 to improve to 11-2.
WR: Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
Caught a career high 15 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown as the Cowboys came from behind to beat the Lions 28-27. The Cowboys improved to 12-1 and continue to dominate the NFC.
Defense: Patrick Kerney, Seattle Seahawks
Kerney had 7 tackles including 3 sacks as he led the Seahawks to a 42-21 win over the Cardinals to clinch the NFC West. Kerney is now the league leader in sacks with 13.5 this season.
Other News:
-The Saints got back on track with a big 34-14 win over the Falcons thanks to a huge game from Drew Brees. He threw for 328 yards and 4 touchdowns in the win. In Falcons news, head coach Bobby Petrino has resigned as the head coach, and will not finish the season with Atlanta.
-The Colts beat up on the Ravens 44-20 led by three touchdowns from Joseph Addai, and four touchdown passes for Manning.
-The Broncos destroyed the Chiefs 41-7 in Jay Cutler's best game of his career. Cutler threw for 244 yards on 20-27 passing, with four touchdowns.
-The Browns continued their run to the playoffs with a 24-18 road win over the Jets on Sunday. The Browns are now 8-5, and currently hold the second wild card spot.
-The Buffalo Bills made the 0-13 Dolphins look foolish with a 38-17 win, improving them to 7-6. They are just one game back of the wild card in the AFC. What a surprise for Bills fans this season.
-Every week a Vikings running back shines. Last week it was Peterson, this week it was Chester Taylor. He ran for 101 yards on 18 carries while putting one in the endzone to help lead the Vikings past the 49ers 27-7. Peterson was disgraceful Sunday, rushing for just 3 yards on 14 carries. Hopefully he can get back on track next week.
-The Giants basically secured their playoff spot in the NFC as they beat the Eagles 16-13. The Eagles drop to 5-8, and it seems as if their hopes of making the playoffs have been shattered. When will we see Kevin Kolb?
-The Buccaneers were upset on the road by the Texans as they went down 28-14 on Sunday. Garcia missed the game due to injury. If the Bucs want to hold onto the NFC South, they need him back and healthy.
-The Chargers came away with a huge win on the road over the Titans 23-17 in overtime. LaDanian Tomlinson rushed for 146 yards on 26 carries including the game winning touchdown on Sunday.
-The Bengals beat the Rams 19-10 in a rather meaningless game.
-The Jaguars improved to 9-4 with a huge 37-6 win over the Panthers.
Week 15 What-To-Watch:
1) Buffalo Bills vs. Cleveland Browns
It's scary to think that two of the worst teams in the NFL are fighting for the second wild card seed in the AFC, but they are. The Browns currently hold the spot, but the Bills can steal from Cleveland with a win on Sunday in the game of the week.
2) Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Jags look to keep on rolling and clinch a wild card seed with a victory over the Steelers, while Pittsburgh look to keep their lead in the AFC East over the Browns.
3) New York Jets vs. New England Patriots
Last time this two teams faced, there was some cheating going on. What will happen this time? Another blowout? Or will another crappy team give the Patriots a scare?
