In classic Derek Jeter fashion, the captain turns an acrobatic 6-3 double play during the second inning of the Yankees 8-2 victory over the Twins tonight at the Stadium. Bobby Abreu drove in three runs, including a go-ahead two-run homer in the sixth, and the Yankees recorded their 5th straight victory. The win also brings their home winning streak to 9.
