Kobe Bryant goes up for a slam dunk during last night's game against Greece in which Team U.S.A won 92-69. The U.S. avenged their stunning loss to Greece two years ago in the semifinals of the 2006 World Championships which the Greeks won 101-95 with clinical execution of its pick-and-roll offense. Last night was all U.S.A though, as Chris Bosh and Kobe Bryant led the way with 18 points each. Dwayne Wade contributed with 17 of his own and LeBron James had 13, including two off of an awesome backward, breakaway dunk which gave the U.S. a 16-point lead and effectively ended the game. With the win, Team U.S.A moves on to the medal round but will first close pool play by facing undeafeated Spain. The winner will earn the group's top seed for the quarterfinals.
